Project Introduction
Project Title: DAI Global Travel Insurance Guide
Timeline: June 2022
Project Type: Set of five double-sided flyers and one bi-fold brochure (4 pages)
Purpose: Designed for DAI employees traveling abroad for project assignments and official trips, this internal guide provided clear, accessible information on various types of insurance coverage—health, life, property, auto, and accident protection. The goal was to create a visually cohesive and easy-to-navigate set of materials that made complex policy information understandable before departure.
Format & Size: U.S. Letter, printed on glossy stock
Tools Used: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dimension, Lightroom
Team & Role
Designer: Gawon Lee
Project Commissioned by: DAI Desk
Project Overview
This was completed before generative AI tools were used in the design workflow. Each cube scene was textured and lit in Dimension, then the hands were composited in Photoshop.
The visuals are simple, but each render took a long time to finish. It remains one of my most memorable projects because the extremely long rendering times eventually convinced my manager to approve a new laptop for me.

Project Introduction
Timeline: 2018
Project Type: Catalog Design, Product Photography
Tools Used: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; DSLR Camera (for products)
Designer & Photographer: Gawon Lee
Project Lead: Design Team, Absolute New York
Project Overview
At Absolute New York, nearly 90% of sales came through beauty supply stores across the Americas. For independently operated retailers, catalogs were an essential tool for ordering, so printed books were regularly updated and included in sales representatives’ binders.
This catalog was a 120-page printed book, and I was responsible for 30% of the total content, contributing 36 pages. The sample above features six selected pages that include packaging and display design, product photography, and layout work—each fully executed as part of my contribution to the project.
