1. Secret Library
Project Introduction
Project Title: Secret Library
Timeline: September 2023
Project Type: Wall Graphic Design
Purpose:
Specifications: Vinyl Printing, Vector, White 1-Color, 55" W × 43" H
Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator
Designer: Gawon Lee
Project Overview
This was the first of three wall graphic projects I was commissioned to design for the office. After the pandemic, the fourth-floor space was renovated as the team returned to on-site work, with several small areas reimagined.
The “Secret Library” occupies a tiny walk-in storage room about 50 inches behind the glass entry doors—so close that anyone stepping off the elevator can immediately see it. The windowless room has L-shaped shelves and fits only two people.
To make the most of this tight spot, I turned it into a cheerful micro-library for coworkers. The illustration, drawn in a single white line on a deep muted smoky blue wall from the DAI palette, depicts a playful, simplified bookshelf scene. Applied in matte vinyl, it added curiosity and charm to what was once a plain storage room.
After installation, faux greenery and LED strip lighting transformed the space into a small, delightful corner. Employees and visitors often stopped to peek inside, borrow books, or leave donations—a hidden gem just beyond the glass doors.

2. Yellow Lounge

Project Introduction
Project Title: Yellow Lounge
Timeline: October 2023
Project Type: Wall Graphic Design
Specifications: Vinyl Printing, Vector, White 1-Color, 158" W × 95" H
Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator
Designer: Gawon Lee
Project Overview
The 4th floor’s palette used only three DAI brand colors—white, muted light blue, and smoky blue. For the lounge, I was asked to create a complementary contrast. So, I selected the brand’s yellow shade and applied it as a 10-step gradient.
3. Meeting room #2

Project Introduction
Project Title: Meeting room
Timeline: Feb 19, 2024
Project Type: Wall Graphic Design
Specifications: Vinyl Printing, Vector, White 1-Color, 130” W x 97” H
Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator
Designer: Gawon Lee
Project Overview
Upon entering the small room, the camera on the far-right wall faced a plain white surface, which caused visual loss—such as hair or jackets disappearing—during video calls. The team requested a darker tone to be applied to the wall to clearly separate people from the background.
I matched the wall color to the leather chair and added a subtle pattern for visual depth. On camera, the background now defines the subject clearly while remaining understated and professional.
