Project Overview
This project involved illustrating the cover with hand-drawn typography and taking original photographs. It was completed during the first on-site semester after the COVID lockdowns and my final semester in the MA program.
The assignment was to design a book that integrates visual and written content into a cohesive editorial layout. I created Easy Greens to Grow, a practical guide for beginner-friendly gardening inspired by tips from my father. The book includes 68 visual elements: 20 original photos of my home garden, 18 contributed photos from my cousin, 6 hand-drawn illustrations, and additional licensed images approved by the professor.
Designed in a clean, magazine-style layout, the book provides clear step-by-step guidance, organic gardening advice, and seasonal growing tips across 70 pages plus cover.
